I’m
so proud of my daughter Olivia, although she tells me she doesn’t like
quilting, she has actually made a few quilts including this lovely quilt for
her friends’ daughter Lacey.

For this flannel quilt Olivia picked complimentary colours and prints, pink,
yellow and soft grey for a little girls room, ladybugs, hearts and elephants because
they were so cute.
The
Animal Crackers pantograph seemed like the right choice, as elephants is part
of the design, the thread colour choice was a yummy lemon ice.

Olivia
also decided that the quilt should have rounded corners and she sewed the
binding on with a decorative heart stitch that my sewing machine does.
A
lovely finish.
