Doreen’s daughter-in-law Edith owns the
Lofty Designs Flower Shop in Olds, Alberta, and last year she had an
agricultural exchange student from Mexico named Oliva come to learn and work
with her. Doreen wanted to give her a quilt as a gift to take home to Mexico
and Oliva picked Winter Wonderland.

Doreen decided that the Winter White
pantograph by Dave Hudson was the best design for quilting.

What a beautiful memento Oliva has of
her stay in Canada.
